The Illinois Association of Music Therapy has a duty to respond to the most recent acts of racial injustice and all continuing modes of racism, violence, and inequity that continues to abide within our institutions and society. This forum was created to be a space to listen, discuss, and grow through the knowledge gained from the Institute of El Paso’s Anti-Racism Training, which happened during Summer 2020. The forum is currently closed to responses but please feel free to explore what members posted.

Welcome everyone as we continue our conversation on how to be anti-racist in our music therapy practices. This is again, based on the University of El Paso's Anti-Racism course but can be utilized by all members as a place to grow even after the course has closed to the public.
