Scholarship Opportunities

IAMT is proud to be able to offer our members three different scholarship opportunities.  Each scholarship will be offered annually, and members may apply for any of the following opportunities.

In addition, if you know a member that is an unsung hero and fits the the criteria for the AMTA Membership Award or Continuing Education Award, you can nominate them by clicking here.

AMTA MEMBERSHIP AWARD

One Scholarship will be awarded to an IAMT member at the end of each calendar year.  The amount of the award will match AMTA’s current Professional Membership pricing at the time the scholarship is announced.  Applicants will need to submit the following:

  1. Scholarship Application Form
  2. A statement of financial need
  3. An essay describing why the applicant believes AMTA membership to be important

Scholarship applications will be accepted in September and October each year.  Applicants need not demonstrate financial need in order to qualify for the scholarship, but those who cannot afford membership will be given preference.

The executive committee of the IAMT Board will blindly review applications in November.  Winners will be notified in December, and the award will be given before the end of the calendar year.
